1984と5150と三線/Van Halen （1984,1986,2020）
右手人差し指で歴史を変えた世界一のギタリスト、EddieVanHalenが亡くなった。僕にとってナンバーワンギタリストのEddieのために、あえて沖縄の三線をギターアンプにつないで爆音でソロを奏でてみました。ドラム入りの『三線でエディの想い出/Remix』と、１発録りの『三線でエディの想い出/Naked Ver.』をお聴きいただければ彼への想いが伝わるはずです。
彼の功績は計り知れないけれど、ライトハンド奏法、高速なハミングバードピッキング、ハードなアームプレイ、数々のハーモニクスなどがあげられる。でも彼の演奏の本質は、彼のタイム感、リズム感が、ずば抜けているところだろう。裏のリズムから入る感覚はジャズ的で一筋縄ではいかないもの。最高でした。

His achievements are immeasurable, but include right hand playing, fast hummingbird picking, hard armplay, and numerous harmonics.But the essence of his performance is his sense of time and rhythm.The feeling of entering from the rhythm behind the scenes is jazz-like and not straightforward.It was the best.
